The new entrance to the cellar, also built by Auroport, is the starting point of a pathway running along the pavilion in the courtyard. The spacious barrique cellar is the heart of the structure. Walls and ceiling are covered with red-hued porphyry gathered from nearby rocky walls. Auroport’s gates guarantee that the temperature in the hall, which retains a nearly sacred atmosphere, remain the same. The design and quality of the Corten steel sliding gates with an integrated communicating door highlight the mystical atmosphere one experiences in the cellar. The anteroom awakens the same emotions one would have in front of a treasure chamber. After all, this is what lies behind the three identical and secure gates: this is where Terlano wines age undisturbed, delivering that outstanding quality we’re all used to.
